We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to join our team at Ypsomed. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving the development and implementation of our diabetes solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Scientific Leadership: Participate in scientific conferences and workshops to maintain industry knowledge and present scientific data to healthcare professionals and the medical community.
- Strategic Development: Develop and implement strategies to engage with patient communities, advocacy groups, and healthcare professionals.
- Medical Expertise: Be the medical and scientific resource for our teams, providing expert guidance on diabetes and endocrinology.
- Collaboration: Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and research institutions, collaborating on joint projects in research and dissemination.
- Medical Assessments: Perform medical assessments of technologies and therapies for the treatment of diabetes, translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Training and Education: Develop, maintain, and deliver medical and educational training programs to support the adoption of our solutions.
- Content Development: Organize and develop scientific content for our own scientific symposia, creating materials to support the dissemination of clinical evidence.
- Medical Degree: Hold a medical degree (MD or DO) with specialization in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism.
- Board Certification: Be board certified in endocrinology or a related field.
- Clinical Experience: Possess extensive clinical experience in diabetes care, with a strong track record of leadership in a healthcare setting.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Have in-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Scientific Understanding: Demonstrate a strong scientific understanding, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data.
- Interpersonal Skills: Possess solid interpersonal, project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Language Proficiency: Be fluent in written and spoken English, with other languages being an advantage.
