Medical Devices EMEA is developing an industry leading omnichannel approach to customer engagement as a critical enabler in achieving its growth ambitions. As such, we are rapidly enhancing capabilities in key areas to support this strategy. We are well underway in our journey, and we have learned so many things over the past year, which requires us to think strategically about how we will continue to drive omnichannel customer engagement forward through our organizational setup.

For the newly created Director, Omnichannel Marketing Strategy & Operations role, we are seeking an expert Marketing Strategist to drive our regional strategy forward, built upon the pillars of people, process and technology, so that MD EMEA can deliver personalised omnichannel customer engagement. In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of our regional omnichannel marketing framework in close collaboration with internal and external partners. You will also design and lead capability development and deployment across the region to support omnichannel engagements. You will have the ability to deliver on current business requirements whilst future proofing our offerings through innovation and refinement.

You will lead a team of marketing professionals, both online and offline channel owners (including Congresses), Marketing Analytics/Insights specialists, and project/implementation managers, and will hire, train, and develop the team members while building an inclusive environment where the team can be the best version of themselves every day

Key Role Accountabilities & Activities:

- Accelerate the transition toward omnichannel and customer engagement marketing with the aim to increase retention and drive incremental business in close partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Shape and execute a strategic roadmap for JJMD owned channel capability needs. Drive prioritization, resource planning, budget/business planning requirements in close collaboration with CommEx and Franchise Marketing
- Develop and embed strong & future-proof core capabilities (platforms, process, skills, working models) for our regional and country organizations.
- Collaborate with global and regional partners to drive digital excellence, governance, efficiencies, and prioritized planning for adaptation at the regional/local level in alignment with the global and regional strategy.
- Connect with country Omnichannel Marketing managers to drive consistencies in approach across the region
- Drive effective collaboration with internal teams to ensure processes, pilots and customer needs are met across owned channels.
- Manage results against key customer experience KPIs and action on them as opportunities arise.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to empower them to design and deliver campaigns in agile, rapid campaign cycles.
- Lead and develop Campaign frameworks, toolkits, and ways of working between Global, Regional, and Country teams.
- Understand and evaluate innovative marketing tech that enables campaign strategies to be done in an efficient way. Lead development of external strategic partnerships critical to achieve our goals by identifying pilots to learn quickly and scale across the region
- Lead workshops to train brand marketers, creative agencies and other stakeholders on omnichannel marketing strategy and best practice. Empower team to create playbooks and other supporting documentation required to define engagement framework
- Partner with data/analytics, IT and EMEA and local brand teams to build our digital and data analytics capabilities to measure and track the effectiveness of campaigns
- Build and leverage network both internally within MD EMEA and outside of MD EMEA to keep abreast of industry trends and best practice.
- Develop programs that are aimed to share learnings and experiences of our omnichannel journey with the wider organization including supporting functions like regulatory, medical affairs, communications and legal.
- Develop business cases to secure funding and deliver competitive and sustainable programs
- Attract, retain, and engage a high performing team

**Qualifications**:
Essential:

- Expert level Marketing know-how, including Digital Marketing,
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in marketing. Healthcare experience preferred.
