Finance Reporting & Analytics Expert

At Generali, we're seeking a highly skilled Finance Reporting & Analytics Expert to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Finance Reporting and Analytics department, you'll play a crucial role in driving strategic decision-making and organizational success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Finance organization in preparing pre-defined reports, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Update hierarchies, data models, and master data, ensuring data quality and working closely with the technical BI Team for further development and continuous improvement of reports in SAP BW.
  • Maintain documentation for Business Requirements, Testing, and Sign-off, contributing to trainings and learnings on Reporting for the Finance Community.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Business, Accounting, or Finance.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis and report preparation, ideally within Insurance.
  • Good understanding of SAP BW functionality and concepts, with a general affinity to technology implementation concepts.
  • Ability to work with large datasets, analyze complex data, and work independently with an analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong background demonstrating co-ordination and driving to deadlines, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in German and/or English.
