About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Reporting Expert to join our team at Generali. As a key member of our Finance organization, you will play a critical role in driving strategic decision-making and organizational success through the analysis and interpretation of complex financial data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, increasing efficiency and effectiveness of reporting.
  • Support the Finance organization in the preparation of pre-defined reports, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Develop and maintain hierarchies, data models, and master data, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Work closely with the technical BI Team to develop and improve reports in SAP BW, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Maintain documentation for business requirements, testing, and sign-off, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Contribute to training and learning initiatives for the Finance Community, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Business, Accounting, or Finance.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis and report preparation, preferably in the Insurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of SAP BW functionality and concepts.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and analyze complex data, driving insights and recommendations.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, with an analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong background in coordination and driving to deadlines, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in German and/or English, with other language skills advantageous.
