Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $49,400, based on a 3-unit per course load and an average of two courses per semester.

Job Description

This part-time faculty position involves teaching one or more undergraduate or graduate-level business courses in the School of Business Management. Courses are offered during the year, including summer, and may be scheduled on weekday mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends.

Candidates are expected to attend monthly 1 1/2 hour-long SBM faculty meetings and demonstrate expertise in their area of teaching. Experience with academic committees, professional program development, and continuing education is desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • MBA or relevant business degree from a regionally accredited university.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching business courses at the undergraduate or graduate level.
  • Expertise in the area of teaching and ability to develop engaging lesson plans.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
  • Prior experience with academic committees, program development, and continuing education is highly desirable.
