About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Project Lead to join our team at Georg Fischer Rohrleitungssysteme AG. As a key member of our Process Automation department, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of embedded software for our next-generation Process Automation devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of embedded software in close collaboration with the Software Architect, Project Manager, and cross-functional teams
  • Define work packages, tasks, and develop timelines to ensure efficient and timely delivery
  • Actively drive the implementation and testing of embedded software
  • Regularly communicate and provide status updates to stakeholders
  • Ensure quality and maintain the Embedded Software Development Process
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in developing embedded software and leading embedded software projects in an industrial environment
  • Experience with Scrum or similar agile methodologies
  • Sound knowledge of modern C (C 11 and higher) and Python
  • Experience with ARM Cortex MCUs and embedded OS
  • Knowledge of digital connectivity protocols (e.g., PROFNET, EtherNet/IP, ModbusTCP, IO-Link)
  • Experience with cyber security (e.g., IEC)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • English language proficiency (very good level required)
  • German language proficiency (asset)
