About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Project Lead to join our team at Georg Fischer Rohrleitungssysteme AG, Schaffhausen. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development of embedded software in close collaboration with our Software Architect, Project Manager, and teams abroad.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define work packages, tasks, and develop timelines
  • Actively drive the implementation and testing of embedded software
  • Ensure quality and efficient delivery of projects
  • Maintain the Embedded Software Development Process and ensure its adherence
  • Develop and test embedded software for selected cases

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field. You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in developing embedded software and leading embedded software projects in an industrial environment. Additionally, you should have experience with Scrum or similar agile methodologies, modern C++ (C++ 11 and higher), Python, ARM Cortex MCUs, embedded OS, and digital connectivity (e.g., PROFNET, EtherNet/IP, ModbusTCP, IO-Link, or similar field buses). Experience with cyber security (e.g., IEC62443-4) is a plus.
