Job Description

This role requires a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in the Avaloq stack (Avaloq Script, PL/SQL, Oracle SQL, Task Engine, Report Writer, Object Model, Transactional Model, Booking Engine). The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of banking and finance, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They should be able to maintain existing trade and transaction reporting solutions, develop new functionalities or changes to existing ones, and implement small to medium-sized projects with colleagues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be suitable for this role, candidates should have a higher education degree in Informatics or Computer Science, preferably with specialization in Software Engineering. Additional training in Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP) is highly valued. Four years of practical experience in the field of Avaloq development are required. A solid understanding of banking and finance, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills, are essential. Proficiency in English is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Holds an ACCP with Major in Core Technologies (formerly ACP)
  • Able to work effectively with various stakeholders
Location and Work Environment
