About the Role

As a seasoned Senior Avaloq Developer at J Safra Sarasin, you will leverage your profound expertise in the Avaloq stack to provide technical leadership to the Trade & Transaction reporting unit within the broader Avaloq Regulatory team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Maintain and evolve existing Trade and Transaction reporting solutions to meet the evolving needs of the business.
  • Design, develop, and implement new functionalities or changes to existing ones in Trade and Transaction reporting.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from the Trade and Transaction reporting unit to deliver small to medium-sized projects.
  • Participate in architecture reviews and suggest improvements to existing solutions.
  • Contribute to the broader Avaloq Regulatory team, assisting in other expert fields such as Tax, Compliance, Legal Reporting, and Accounting.

About You

  • You hold a higher education degree in Informatics or Computer Science, preferably with a specialization in Software Engineering.
  • You have completed additional training in Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP) and possess 4 years of practical experience in Avaloq development.
  • You have a solid understanding of banking and finance, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Accomplishment of ACCP with Major in Core Technologies is a plus.
  • You are capable of working effectively with various stakeholders and possess a hands-on mentality.
  • You exhibit strong work ethics, integrity, and a high level of accountability.
  • You are willing to relocate to Basel, Switzerland.
  • Fluency in English is required.
