Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Manager, Global Retail Excellence Self Care Category & Shopper to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in shaping our global category leadership and growth strategies, leveraging advanced analytics and insights to drive business results.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute category visioning and solutions for assigned segments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable and effective category and brand solutions.
- Lead category visioning and solutions across segment Business Development Teams (BDTs), prioritizing and focusing on key initiatives and objectives.
- Partner with priority market capability leads to deploy category vision and transcreate category development and brand growth strategies with retailers.
- Lead work on category solutions and activation across the full Kenvue portfolio for key consumer targets, such as Pediatric/Young Family, Aging Consumer, and Gen Z.
- Serve as the Retail Excellence liaison for Business Development Teams (BDTs), ensuring the voice of customer and core retail excellence principles are activated across BDTs.
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of Consumer Products industry experience in Category or Customer Strategy, Customer Business Development, Category Insights & Analytics, and/or Shopper Insights & analytics.
- Natural leadership skills, with the ability to empower and motivate teams to achieve results.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to craft category and brand strategy and unlock new growth opportunities.
- A growth mindset, with a bias for action and a focus on identifying trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt category and brand strategy to sales teams and customers.
- Budgeting and forecasting, commercial and financial acumen.
- Direct customer sales experience in CPG is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of omni-retail customer store operations, structure, strategy, and retail execution tactics is preferred.
