Asian Cuisine Expert Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Wok Chef to join our team at Nooch Asian Kitchen in Zurich. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking wok dishes to the highest standards.

Nooch Asian Kitchen is part of Familie Wiesner Gastronomie, a renowned food concept with a rich history dating back to 2004. Our restaurant in Uster offers a diverse menu featuring fresh noodle, rice, and soup dishes, as well as various curries. We cater to a wide range of customers, including regulars, business guests, and groups, and take pride in providing excellent service through our warm and well-coordinated team.

• Mise en Place: Prepare ingredients and set up for lunch and dinner services, ensuring seamless execution.
• Cooking Wok Dishes: Independently prepare wok dishes on our menu, utilizing your expertise and creativity.
• Quality Control: Maintain freshness standards by carefully selecting and handling ingredients.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and maintain the kitchen area, adhering to HACCP hygiene protocols.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• At least 2 years of experience working with gas woks, demonstrating proficiency in wok cooking techniques.
• Strong communication skills in German or English, enabling effective interaction with colleagues and guests.
• A keen eye for detail, ensuring precise and efficient work.
• A passion for growing and developing within the company.
• An acute sense of ingredient quality, guaranteeing freshness and flavor in our dishes.
