Clinical Epidemiology Research Fellow

**About the Position**
The Institute of Primary Health Care at the Universität Bern is seeking a highly motivated PhD researcher to join our team in the field of clinical substance use epidemiology. As a PhD researcher, you will be part of a dynamic and interdisciplinary research environment, working closely with our team of researchers, clinicians, and public health experts.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct research in clinical substance use epidemiology, including data analysis and synthesis
- Participate in the coordination of research projects, including study design, data collection, and data management
- Collaborate with study nurses and other researchers to ensure the successful completion of research projects
- Present research findings at international conferences and publish articles in peer-reviewed journals
- Assist in the development of research proposals and grant applications
**Requirements**
- Master's degree in epidemiology, life science, medicine, pharmacy, or a related field
- Strong interest in substance use and counseling
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in German and English (B1 or more), French is a plus

**Working Conditions**
The position is available for 4 years, with negotiable starting date. Part-time clinical and research work agreements are negotiable. The PhD stipend is according to SNSF standards.
