About the JobWe are seeking a skilled Technical Specialist for our Elemental Analysis team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for processing customer orders, conducting analysis, evaluating results, and documenting findings. You will work closely with scientists to validate methods and ensure high-quality results.
Responsibilities- Process customer orders efficiently, focusing on routine ICP-MS analysis and expanding into more techniques as needed.
- Organize and conduct independent analysis of customer orders, including sample preparation, analysis, evaluation, and documentation.
- Collaborate with scientists on method validations to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Work in a GMP laboratory environment, adhering to strict regulations and guidelines.
- Take responsibility for lab equipment, ensuring it is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Education as a lab technician with a focus on analytics or comparable education.
- Excellent understanding of analytical chemistry and a willingness to learn new analysis techniques.
- Previous experience with elemental analysis techniques such as ICP-MS, ICP-OES & AAS, including sample preparation, is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge in GMP/ISO-regulated environments is preferable.
- Excitement about computerized systems and experience with LIMS is an asset.
- Reliability, initiative, and motivation are essential qualities for this role.
- Good German and English skills (spoken and written) are required.
