As an Institutional Sales Specialist - Swiss Market, you will be part of the growing client team covering Switzerland and play a key role in supporting client acquisition and maintenance across the team and firm.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing client meetings, pitches, and due diligence sessions by compiling convincing bespoke marketing presentations and investment proposals.
  • Creating high-quality marketing materials and responses to client requests, assisting with queries, and performance updates.
  • Becoming a point of contact with internal teams and stakeholders requiring strong collaboration.
  • Producing written market updates and summaries of investment activity.
  • Owning the process to deliver convincing answers to request for proposals (RFPs).
  • Developing expertise in private markets and Partners Group's platform, products, and investment strategies across asset classes.
  • Building professional and technical knowledge to work independently with senior sales professionals and respond to client queries.

Key Requirements

  • Undergraduate university degree with outstanding academic results.
  • Native German speaker with excellent skills in both spoken and written English (hard requirements). Good understanding of spoken and written French is a plus.
  • Required experience in private markets, consulting, M&A, or investment banking gained by previous internships.
  • Ability to problem solve with a client-focused mindset and willingness to work towards tight deadlines in a challenging environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Confident and comfortable communicating with teams and individuals across all levels.
  • Ability to take full ownership and responsibility.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to drive different processes at the same time.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills as well as a strong desire to learn and succeed.
  • Proactive hands-on approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
