At Salomon, we are passionate about creating innovative products and experiences for mountain sports enthusiasts. Our commitment to performance-driven design has led to a vast range of revolutionary concepts in bindings, boots, skis, and apparel.
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead our local marketing efforts in Switzerland. As the local face of our brand, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the Salomon local marketing plan, working closely with local managers of all channels to achieve brand development targets and provide the best-in-class consumer experience.
The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of professional experience in marketing and communication, with a deep understanding of the sporting goods distribution landscape. You will be proficient in English and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Main Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate the local marketing plan, in line with global/regional brand management and merchandising directions.
- Lead the marketing team in the country and act as the marketing point of reference for the omnichannel organization.
- Provide country budget guidance and manage the local marketing team to implement the brand's yearly and seasonal plans.
- Monitor achievement of the Salomon local marketing plan and recommend adjustments if necessary.
- Develop and execute marketing activations for D2C channels.
- Lead the implementation of the shopping experience framework and develop Joint Trade Marketing plans to ensure adequate brand representation at wholesale partners.
- Guard the brand equity in the country/country cluster.
- Develop and implement the Epicenter Marketing plan in coordination with the Epicenter Leaders.
- Lead local sustainability programs and activations.
- Be the marketing point of contact for local Key Accounts, Premium Partners, and HQ Retail.
- Deliver customer presentations at key meetings, conveying seasonal programs.
- Cooperate with Sales team to develop local customer plans, including co-op campaigns.
- Own local Customers Joint Marketing Plans, define and agree on plans and related tracking.
