We are a leading provider of innovative solutions, and we are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Test Design Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in embedded software test design and execution, preferably in an industrial R&D environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing tests, as well as collaborating with our engineering team to ensure the highest quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute tests for embedded software systems
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Develop and maintain test scripts and automation tools
  • Work closely with cross-discipline teams to ensure seamless integration of testing efforts
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing

Requirements

  • 5 years' experience in embedded software test design and execution, preferably in industrial R&D environment
  • General knowledge of electrical systems is a plus (e.g. reading schematics)
  • Familiarity with lifting solutions is a plus
  • Proficient in test scripting and automation
  • Experienced user of JIRA, HP Quality Center
  • Self-directed and self-organized, highly responsible and reliable team player
  • Experience working in distributed/cross-discipline teams
  • Experience working with Agile methods
  • Education: Bachelor Engineering Electrical or Computer Science
  • Languages: English (German is a plus)
  • Others: Must be eligible to work in Switzerland (EU/EFTA Citizenship or valid Swiss work permit)
