Strategic Manager of Global Internal Displacement Response

The Fund Secretariat, hosted by the UN Development Coordination Office, plays a crucial role in supporting the operational functioning of the Internal Displacement Solutions Fund.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- ">
- Manages the IDSF Secretariat, including the development and oversight of work planning and the secretariat budget.">
- Ensures the monitoring of operational risks and IDSF performance.">
- Liaises with the Administrative Agent on fund administration issues, including issues related to project/fund extensions and project/fund closures.">
- Guides the recipient organizations on the programming processes and requirements as laid out in the fund's Operations Manual.">
- Submits annual and final consolidated narrative reports on Fund progress, in accordance with the agreed results framework and respective indicators, including on the activities of the Secretariat.">
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">An advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent) in International Development, International Relations, Public Administration, Public Policy, or other relevant Social Sciences is required, OR a first-level university degree (bachelor's degree) in the areas mentioned above in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree.
">A minimum of seven (7) years (with master's degree) or nine (9) years (with bachelor's degree) of experience in international development in a government, multilateral, or civil society organization working in a multi-cultural setting is required.
">Proven experience in fund management, including managing Multi-Donor Trust Funds or large-scale multi-stakeholder programmes, highly desirable experience of inter-agency coordination and multi-stakeholder environment is required.
">Demonstrated experience in results-based management, risk management, and finance and operations is required.
">Fluency in English is required, knowledge of another UN language is desirable.
