About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Administrator to join our team at Company 81 - Manulife Data Services Inc. This is a key role that will be responsible for the administration and support of our server-based platforms, including installation, configuration, and problem analysis and resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support server-based platforms, including installation, configuration, and problem analysis and resolution.
- Install, analyze, configure, manage, and maintain multiple applications on Development and Pre-Production servers.
- Monitor patches, disk and memory spaces, CPU usage, and administer file system access.
- Respond to incidents, work with vendors, and support business teams to analyze root causes and modify current processes.
- Meet with project teams to provide skills, knowledge, and resources to support project requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- At least two to three years of relevant experience in IT Operations with strong understanding of Windows Servers.
- Hybrid Work Arrangement: amenability to work onsite and from home anytime.
- Shift Schedule (Night): amenability to work on the assigned schedule.
- Minimum Skills to Hire/Must Haves: MS Azure, knowledgeable in Internet Information Services, software application installation, upgrade, patching, and configuration, server/networking troubleshooting skills, IT Service Management.
- Nice to Have Skills: familiarity in scripting languages, experience in Agile, ITIL 4 Foundation and AZ-900 certifications, Microsoft Certifications.
