We are currently looking for an experienced Aluminium Trading and Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Zurich, Switzerland. This role requires expertise in commercial trade and logistics operations, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate all aspects of aluminium trading and logistics, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers in the primary aluminium industry.
- Negotiate contracts and manage ongoing business relationships.
- Collaborate closely with the Middle-Office / Logistics department to ensure seamless contract execution.
- Regularly update internal sales/trading systems.
- A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in commercial trade and logistics operations, preferably in the physical commodity sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective internal and external interactions.
- A motivated and result-driven personality.
- The ability to identify opportunities and convert them into tangible results.
- High-level problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Fluent English skills are necessary; other languages may be advantageous.
- A good understanding of metal production processes or the ability to learn quickly.
- Proficiency in IT, especially Excel.
- A customer-centric and proactive approach.
