Your Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking an Environmental Data Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental Data Specialist, you will play a key role in consolidating environmental data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy and consistency. You will work closely with reporting entities and Maisons to maintain open communication and provide complex GHG accounting treatment information.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining the inventory of Emission Factors in collaboration with other Group expert functions and Maisons
  • Ensuring data consistency and accuracy across different reporting entities/Maisons and data sources, contributing to create control procedures
  • Analysing environmental reporting categories and providing clear and meaningful information on significant movements and deviations
  • Operating restatement processes allowed under specific conditions (errors, change in calculation methodology, changes in reporting scope)
  • Contributing to prepare consolidated annual environmental disclosures as part of the Group Non-Financial Reporting process and ad hoc local reporting requirements
  • Facilitating the interim and annual external audit process
  • Providing instruction and training to local finance controllers, particularly regarding quarterly analytical reviews and year-end data submission
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the environmental data management platform (current SAP Analytics Cloud) and supporting the adoption of new tooling

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful as an Environmental Data Specialist, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounting
  • 3-5 years of significant experience in consolidating group statutory accounts
  • Experience in a Big Four firm or multinational company preferred
  • Knowledge of GRI/ESRS and GHG Protocol is preferred
