Business Systems Analyst

The Business Applications Analysis Group at TN Switzerland is closely aligned with our business teams and responsible for the analysis, onboarding, and prioritization of major projects. Our team takes care of the development, customization, and ongoing enhancement of our applications to best support our global business operations.
Responsibilities
- We help develop business cases by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats.
- We document clear and concise specifications including workflow charts and diagrams.
- We onboard all stakeholders as part of the process and finalize the scope of work.
- We define system capabilities and expectations from stakeholders.
- We identify key project milestones, phases, and elements.
- We contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- We perform daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports.
- We recommend process improvements to senior management.
- For selected projects, we take a lead role and drive the project.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field is required, along with equivalent experience.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in gathering technical and business requirements from end-users and business unit leaders is necessary.
- A strong understanding of capital markets and the financial industry is essential.
- Proficiency in SQL to query and analyze data within MS SQL databases is required.
- The ability to impact operations and effect change without being confrontational is crucial.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and inquisitive individuals are ideal candidates.
- The ability to work independently and with others is necessary.
- Extremely organized individuals with strong time-management skills are preferred.
Desirable but not mandatory:
- Experience in capital markets will be a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with MS Office, especially Excel, is beneficial.
- Proven project management/business analysis certifications like Prince2, PMP, CAPM, CSM, Agile, Safe, etc., are desirable.
