Workstation Infrastructure Designer

Lombard Odier, a renowned global wealth and asset manager, is seeking a highly skilled Workstation Architect to join its team.

This role plays a crucial part in designing, implementing, and maintaining the computing infrastructure and architecture for our organization's workstations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of workstation hardware, software, and networking technologies, as well as experience in desktop support, network administration, or IT consulting.

A successful Workstation Architect at Lombard Odier will be responsible for developing and enforcing standards for hardware, software, and network configurations, ensuring compatibility and interoperability between different systems.

They will also collaborate with other IT teams to ensure that workstation infrastructure aligns with business objectives and supports the organization's overall technology strategy.

In this role, you will create and maintain comprehensive design plans for the organization's workstation infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network configurations.

You will develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for workstation deployment, management, and maintenance.

Additionally, you will deploy and configure workstations to meet business needs, monitor workstation performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot problems to ensure optimal system functionality.

You will also optimize workstation configurations to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance user experience.

Security policies and protocols will be implemented and enforced to protect workstations from unauthorized access and ensure data integrity.

If you have 5+ years' experience in Workstation Architecture or a related field, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and strong skills in designing and architecting workstation infrastructure, we encourage you to apply.
