Senior UX Designer

At Scandit, we empower people with technology to automate workflows and provide actionable insights. As a Senior UX Designer, you will be responsible for the design direction and execution of a suite of shelf intelligence solutions. You will work closely with product managers and engineering to develop concepts, execute detailed designs, and work with external UX researchers to research your designs' usability and desirability.

Your Opportunity

As a Senior UX Designer for Scandit's ShelfView business, you will be part of a rapidly growing team that conceives, implements, and brings to market new and innovative solutions built on top of Scandit's unique capabilities. You will apply user-focused design methods to develop concepts, work in collaboration with key project team members, and turn broadly defined conceptual ideas into highly efficient workflows with beautiful interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Apply user-focused design methods to develop concepts
  • Work in collaboration with key project team members including Tech Leads, Strategy, PMs, Product Engineers, and UX researchers
  • Turn broadly defined conceptual ideas into highly efficient workflows with beautiful interfaces
  • Define research scope and participate in testing design prototypes for usability
  • Execute detailed designs and work closely with engineering during implementation and QA

Requirements

  • 8-10 years experience in UX design for mobile and desktop
  • Experience using industry standard design tools
  • Great eye for aesthetics and attention to detail in visual design
  • Extensive knowledge of material design and accessibility patterns
  • A high degree of accountability, self-motivation, and ability to work autonomously
  • Previous experience with Augmented Reality is a plus
  • Excellent English communication skills
