The Director, Project Delivery Lead, will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing investment projects through the complete project pathway. This includes providing leadership to project teams, building relationships with internal customers, vendors, and contractors, and ensuring compliance with regulations and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans that meet project objectives through the Engineering, Design, Construction, Commissioning, and Qualification phases.
- Establish project charters, including scope of work, goals, and deliverables, in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure project safety and quality standards are met, according to internal procedures and specifications, as well as health authority requirements.
- Clarify roles and responsibilities within the project organization and develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
- Establish project teams and ensure coaching, development, and performance feedback for direct reports.
- Secure optimal information flow within the project organization and at interfaces with stakeholders.
- Report project progress regularly, identifying potential issues and ensuring alignment with internal and external partners.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in CAPEX API projects, with a degree or equivalent in Engineering or a related science discipline.
- Deep knowledge of Project Management, Strategy, and Execution, including controlling and benchmarking.
- Deep knowledge of Chemical and/or Biotech/Pharma industry API manufacturing projects.
- High motivation, independent work style, driven personality, and decisiveness.
- Leadership experience for cross-functional matrix teams (10+ people).
- Fluent English is a must, and German is a big advantage.
