About the Role


Data engineers play a vital role in driving business value by turning raw data into meaningful insights. We’re seeking a skilled Lead Data Engineer to join our team in Geneva and work closely with a Swiss-based bank undergoing a comprehensive cloud migration program. The role requires a mix of remote and on-site work in a hybrid model.

As an integral part of this team, you’ll guide the client’s Data team in making informed decisions on optimal Azure services for migrating their databases, data warehouses, and more.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of quality engineering with EPAM.

Responsibilities



  2. Collaborate with the client and EPAM team to design and implement modern, scalable data solutions using Azure technologies.
  3. Translate requirements into technical data solutions.
  4. Build and deliver data solutions using Azure products.
  5. Apply agile and DevOps techniques throughout the project.

Requirements



  2. Strong experience with Azure Data Factory.
  3. Azure Storage and Data Lake knowledge.
  4. Experience in ETL, analytics, and report development.
  5. Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
  6. Solid understanding of software development lifecycle.
  7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Proactive, reliable, and able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  9. Fluent English and French skills.
