Private Equity Operations Specialist with Expertise in Middle Office

We are seeking an experienced Private Equity Operations Specialist to join our team at Michael Page. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of private equity structures, transactions, and reporting. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our investment records and financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and monitor private equity transactions, including capital calls, distributions, and fund investments.
- Liaise with investment teams to ensure timely settlement of transactions.
- Maintain and update investment records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation and review of portfolio performance reports.
- Coordinate with the front office to gather necessary information for ongoing portfolio analysis.
- Ensure that portfolio data is accurately reflected in internal systems and external reports.
- Work closely with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate valuation of private equity holdings.
- Conduct regular reconciliation of portfolios with fund administrators and custodians.
- Review and validate financial statements and capital account balances from general partners.
- Provide support to the investor relations team by preparing reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Manage communication with limited partners (LPs) regarding capital calls, distributions, and other fund-related activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in middle office, fund administration, or private equity operations.
- Strong knowledge of private equity structures, transactions, and reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Salary: We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
