Key Responsibilities- Design and develop new products, incorporating principles and concepts from mid to high-volume manufacturing production
- Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate new applications
- Support product transfer and release to operation
- Provide technical customer support
- Improve product yield and throughput by understanding root causes from a product design perspective
- Develop intellectual property and contribute to technology management
- Collaborate and report in multidisciplinary project teams
- Drive team members to strive for alignment, entrepreneurial thinking, and high performance
- MSc/BSc degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, photonics, mechatronics, physics, or equivalent
- Experience in product development, preferably in optics, mechanical engineering, or consumer electronics industries
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing is a benefit
- Product design, simulations, and programming experience (Comsol, Python, Solidworks, Altium) are of advantage
- Experience in advanced mechanics, control systems, and dataware analytics is valuable
- Familiar with FMEA, Gage R&R, DOE, SPC, and other statistical modeling
- Creative and analytical thinking, proactive, well-organized, autonomous, hands-on, open-minded for challenging ideas
- Good knowledge of English
- Position is open to both early career and senior levels
