Mechanical Assembly Department Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Mechanical Assembly team at SKAN AG. As the Head of Mechanical Assembly Team, you will be responsible for the overall management of the team, ensuring efficient and high-quality project execution, and contributing to the strategy and future planning of the division.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of assembly leaders (approx. 15 employees) and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of projects.
- Develop and implement resource and budget planning strategies to optimize project delivery.
- Oversee the internal assembly and external installation of our isolators for customers worldwide, ensuring timely and cost-effective project execution.
- Ensure the continuous further development and improvement of internal processes, focusing on efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and implement strategies for the personal and professional development of employees, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across departments to ensure effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the division's strategy and future planning, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Ensure the safety of employees and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Completed basic technical training with further training as an industrial foreman or technician.
- Several years of professional and management experience in an industrial environment, with a proven track record of success.
- Experience with key performance indicators (KPI) and lean management principles.
- Business fluent in German and English.
