Job Description

As the Quality Manager for Nutreco Switzerland GmbH, this is a unique opportunity to develop and enhance our quality system from the ground up. You will report directly to the Business Operations Manager and have a functional link to the Global Quality Director at Nutreco.

You will collaborate with key colleagues to ensure end-to-end Feed to Food Safety and Quality compliance across all phases. This includes working with the Upstream Manager, Discovery Director, Plant Production Group, and Supply Chain Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality compliance.
  • Leverage shared expertise and best practices from Nutreco's global quality network.
  • Ensure all certifications are maintained and achieved with excellence.
  • Support the product development team in designing world-class product specifications.

We are an informal global working environment with great colleagues. We are looking for someone who is willing to travel up to 10% of the time. You should have a master's degree in food science, agronomy, biology, chemistry, or a related field. Several years of relevant experience in quality roles in the feed, food, or pharma industry are required.

We value knowledge of food and feed safety quality systems and certification schemes, such as ISO, QS+, and GMP+. Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and German are necessary.
