Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Specialist to join our team at Rheinmetall. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for implementing and managing our Atlassian environment, including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.

Your primary tasks will include:

  • Providing expert consulting services to internal departments on Atlassian implementation and project management applications.
  • Administering, configuring, and developing our responsible applications.
  • Customizing applications using low-code and no-code solutions.
  • Efficiently executing incident and problem management, as well as ensuring 2nd and 3rd level support for application-related requests.
  • Managing IT projects in compliance with time, content, and cost specifications.
  • Coordinating with external service providers.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Completed studies in business computer science or a similar field with an IT focus, or comparable training.
  • Professional experience in conception, operation, and consulting in the Atlassian environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience in digitalization and automation of processes.
  • Methodical knowledge and ideally certification in project management and ITIL.
  • Independent and solution-oriented work style, with a high willingness to perform and learn.
  • Confident communication and presentation skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
