As a Senior Paralegal / Compliance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring our operations adhere to legal, regulatory, and compliance standards.

Job Description

This role requires a combination of legal expertise, compliance knowledge, and analytical skills to navigate complex regulations and ensure our business activities are aligned with legal requirements. You will assist our Legal Team with drafting and negotiation of legal documents, coordinate with internal teams to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and maintain and organize legal and compliance documentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and Negotiation of Legal Documents: Assist the Legal Team with preparation, review, and negotiation of contracts and legal documents related to clients, vendors, and service providers.
  • Legal Compliance and Risk Mitigation: Coordinate with internal teams and internal or external counsel to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Regulatory and Policy Adherence: Facilitate alignment with local and international regulations, including financial, data protection, and cryptocurrency laws.
  • Documentation and Record Management: Maintain and organize legal and compliance documentation.
  • Compliance Reporting and Liaison: Prepare compliance reports, liaise with regulatory authorities, and support internal audits and reviews.
  • Due Diligence and Onboarding Support: Assist the Compliance Team in conducting client due diligence, including KYC/AML reviews.
  • Training and Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development of compliance training materials and stay updated on evolving legal trends.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Law, Compliance, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a legal or compliance role, ideally within the financial services, trading, or cryptocurrency industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of Swiss and international financial regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and provide actionable legal advice.
  • Experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and legal risk assessment.
  • Proficiency with compliance monitoring tools and legal research platforms.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
