Mobile DevOps Engineer for iOS Development

At Similarweb, we're revolutionizing how businesses interact with the digital world. Our unique data and solutions empower customers like Google, eBay, and Adidas to make decisions that drive their digital strategies. Our team is looking for an iOS DevOps Engineer to join our Zurich team, reporting to the Director, R&D.

This role involves analyzing iOS mobile applications to understand their technical behavior and underlying code. You'll maintain, orchestrate, and improve existing systems for automated testing and analysis tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of iOS mobile applications to understand their technical behavior, and underlying code.
  • Maintaining, orchestrating, and improving existing systems for automated testing and analysis tasks.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest mobile OS releases and development tools relevant to the iOS platform.
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure the quality and stability of the product.
  • Participating in agile ceremonies and contributing to the overall mobile app automation engineering.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of working experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience with iOS development, with a strong understanding of mobile operating systems, including app installation processes, file structures, and security mechanisms.
  • Strong experience with Python and Bash scripting.
  • Meticulous and hands-on approach to ensuring that all automated processes are reliable, accurate, and produce consistent results.
  • Proficiency in reverse engineering, and analyzing mobile applications using relevant tools and techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of static and dynamic analysis tools.
  • Strong experience with Linux-based systems.
  • Previous experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in cybersecurity or mobile security is a plus.
  • Strong Communication Skills to effectively convey technical findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
