About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team at EPAM. As a key member of our ABAP Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions using SAP's ABAP programming language.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality software solutions using ABAP programming language
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems
- Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and reuse
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ABAP development with SAP systems
- Comprehensive experience in ABAP development with SAP systems, particularly in Banking Services 9.0 or S/4 HANA Transactional Banking
- Strong understanding of and hands-on experience with OO ABAP, ABAP CDS view, BADIs/BAPIs, User Exits/enhancements, workflow
- Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Proficient communication skills in English, German language skill is a significant advantage
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Banking Services 9.0 or S/4 HANA Transactional Banking
- Experience in FS-AM Module
- Background in S/4 HANA performance tuning
- Hands-on-experience in Custom Code Migration from SAP ERP to SAP S/4HANA
- Experience in S/4 HANA Greenfield/Brownfield implementation
- S/4 HANA knowledge on the AZURE Cloud Platform
