About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP developer to join our team at EPAM. As a key member of our ABAP Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions using SAP's ABAP programming language.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality software solutions using SAP's ABAP programming language
  • Work closely with business and technology partners to design and implement best-in-class solutions
  • Develop and deliver high-quality software for the Cash Accounting & Client Cash Management area and its projects
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a development & analytical role
  • Comprehensive experience in the ABAP development with SAP systems, in particular Banking Services 9.0 or preferably with S/4 HANA Transactional Banking
  • In-depth understanding of and hands-on experience with OO ABAP, ABAP CDS view, BADIs/BAPIs, User Exits/enhancements, workflow
  • Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve software defects and issues
  • Proficient communication skill in English is mandatory, German language skill is a significant advantage

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Banking Services 9.0 or preferably with S/4 HANA Transactional Banking
  • Experience in FS-AM Module
  • Background in S/4 HANA performance tuning
  • Hands-on-experience in Custom Code Migration from SAP ERP to SAP S/4HANA
  • Experience in S/4 HANA Greenfield/Brownfield implementation
  • S/4 HANA knowledge on the AZURE Cloud Platform
