Optomechanics Assembly and Quality Control Specialist

The Optomechanical Manufacturing and Qualification Engineer will be responsible for the production and qualification of our Tomolite 3D printer. This involves assembling and quality controlling the printers, as well as continuously improving the development of our products and their assembly and quality control processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly and quality control of the Tomolite 3D printers (75%);
- Continuously improving the development of our products, their assembly and quality control processes (10%);
- Support the customers and the engineering team (10%): this includes troubleshooting issues encountered by customers, testing new software releases, designing and testing new hardware modules;
- Managing the supply chains and inventory (5%).
- Occasional on-site technical support at the customers' premises.
Requirements
- Training/Degree in technical field, preferably Optomechanics and/or similar;
- Relevant hands-on experience (including internships) in assembly and production of complex optomechanical devices;
- Able to take responsibilities, focus on priorities, and respect deadlines;
- Proficient in technical English, spoken and written. French is a plus;
- Computer skills, ideally in Python, for automation, assembly. Basic knowledge of Python is a must. Advanced knowledge is a big plus;
- Good computer skills necessary for managing documentation and reporting on the assembly and quality control of the products (in English).
- Knowledge of a CAD software, like Solidworks or Catia, is a plus.
