Workstation Architects at Lombard Odier are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the computing infrastructure and architecture for our organization's workstations. This includes developing and enforcing standards for hardware, software, and network configurations, as well as ensuring compatibility and interoperability between different systems.

• Create and maintain a comprehensive design plan for the organization's workstation infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network configurations
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for workstation deployment, management, and maintenance
• Manage and maintain workstation hardware and software inventory, including upgrades, patches, and security configurations
• Optimize workstation configurations to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance user experience

To succeed in this role, you will require a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. You must have in-depth knowledge of workstation hardware, software, and networking technologies.

In addition, you should be familiar with desktop operating systems, application software, and hardware components such as CPUs, memory, storage, and graphics cards.

A strong understanding of security and compliance requirements, including data privacy laws, security standards, and industry regulations, is also essential.
