Strategic Innovation Leader for Laboratory Balances

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Innovation Leader for Laboratory Balances to join our team at Mettler Toledo. In this role, you will be responsible for initiating, defining, and leading strategic innovation for the next generation of our Excellence Weighing Portfolio, including software, hardware, and service solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop business cases and coordinate various voice of customer projects for different segments
- Set up the program structure and roadmap in close collaboration with competence centers like R&D, Product Management, and Service
- Lead project managers of individual development projects
- Participate in the Strategic Business Unit Management Team
Requirements
- Bachelor or master's degree in Natural Science (Chemistry, Bio, Engineering)
- At least 10 years of relevant work experience in a corporate environment in Project Management, Product Design, Business, and Stakeholder Management
- Experience in the laboratory environment combined with knowledge of the manufacturing industry and in a start-up company is a big advantage
- Good business acumen, strong communication skills, analytical and data-driven thinking, good technical understanding, good project management skills under high pressure, and a customer-oriented mindset
- Fluent English and German language skills, with the ability to communicate cross-culturally with colleagues, team members, and customers around the world
- Open to travel up to 20% globally
