Wealth Management Leader in FXMM

We are CH10 - BJB Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd., a renowned wealth management institution, and we are seeking an experienced Team Head FXMM. This key role is part of our global function Treasury & Payments within the Banking Operations department.

The primary responsibility of the FXMM & PM processing team is to ensure seamless trade confirmation, matching, and settlement of all Forex, Money Market, and Precious Metal transactions. Your challenge will be to take overall responsibility for this team, ensuring daily business readiness, and providing high-quality services that meet our Operations standards.

You will also play a crucial role in supporting the development of our departments' risk framework and financial goals, identifying and developing internal talents, managing the performance and professional development of team members, and overseeing IT and process changes, especially in collaboration with internal project teams.

To succeed in this position, you should have:

  • Experience as a team leader within the FXMM / Cash Management area
  • Experience in Cash Management, FX, Precious Metals, and Money Market Settlements, with a deep understanding of Front-to-Back processes
  • A knowledge of CBPR+, SWIFT, SEPA, and SIC messages and standards (ISO20022), Instant Payments beneficial
  • Strong leadership skills
  • A completed banking education with several years of experience in the banking sector, preferably with higher education
  • Good organizational, planning, analytical, and conceptual skills, with experience in project work and process improvement
  • An ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and cultivate positive working relationships across divisions
  • A strong team-player with a can-do attitude
  • A flexible, reliable, and resilient personality
  • Sophisticated problem-solving and communication skills, fluent in both German and English
  • Profound knowledge of MS Office products and generally tech-savvy
