Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Delivery Framework Team Lead to drive innovation and excellence in our wealth management services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with expertise in agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) and classic methodologies (Waterfall).

As the head of the Delivery Framework Team, you will be responsible for developing and continuously improving the IT Project Management Framework as well as the Global Test Strategy.

This includes defining standards, guidelines, processes, and tooling in these areas, driving their implementation for classic/agile projects and Agile Release Trains.

You will also ensure suitable monitoring of framework adherence by defining controls and reports as part of the Julius Baer IT Governance.

The role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to decompose complex solutions into simple narratives.

You will be responsible for budget execution and forecast in your functional area, as well as supporting team members' skills development.

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience leading a team in IT is required, along with a higher education degree in computer science.

Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

  • Expert Project Management knowledge and working experience in agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) and classic methodologies (Waterfall)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to decompose complex solutions and insights into a simple narrative for the rest of the company
  • Support team members skills development
  • Responsible for budget execution and forecast in own functional area
  • 3-5 years leading a team in IT
  • Higher education (e.g. University, "Fachhochschule") in computer science.
  • Working knowledge of German is beneficiary, excellent command of English
  • Certificates in the area of Project Management, SAFe and DevOps are a strong plus
  • Certificates in Test Management are a strong plus
  • Certificates in Requirements Engineering are a plus
  • Banking background a strong plus
