Your Mission

In the CP COO Office, you will play a critical role in supporting staff across the Private Clients business with cross-border matters and related projects. Your responsibilities include:

  • Providing independent reviews on the interpretation of Cross-Border manuals and their operationalization into the Bank's processes and workflows.
  • Analyzing and reporting on the efficiency of cross-border compliance frameworks to the CP COO and relevant committees.
  • Identifying potential areas for improvement in XB risk mitigation measures and proposing corrective action plans as needed.
  • Supporting and assisting with audit inquiries and recommendations related to Cross-Border matters to ensure consistency across the Group.
  • Serving as a cross-border expert contact for front-office staff, providing guidance and support on related matters.
  • Maintaining an efficient cross-border training program, reviewing, and updating relevant trainings on a regular basis.
  • Providing active support on cross-border rules to 2nd or 3rd lines of defense and being the primary point of contact for IT projects related to cross-border matters.
  • Driving the review and updates of cross-border related policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining the agenda of the Cross-Border Committee, the action log, and drafting minutes.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in laws or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the banking and finance sector or in risk or compliance management functions.
  • Fluency in English and French.
  • Excellent professional knowledge of MS Office tools.
  • A good understanding of risk and cross-border regulations and practices in the private banking sector.
  • An analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Output-driven skills with excellent interpersonal and communication, presentation skills.
  • The ability to work well both independently and in a team.
  • The ability to work under pressure and in a dynamic environment.
  • Residency in CH is required.
