We are seeking highly skilled and experienced professionals to join our team as Fitter Mechanics.

Job Description:

This role will involve assisting Engine Department personnel with the maintenance and repair of all equipment, specifically welding tasks.
A key aspect of this position will be to maintain and inventory spare part materials, ensuring efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Engine Department personnel in the maintenance and repair of all machinery;
  • Prepare requisitions for Engine department stores and consumables, submitting them to the Staff Engineer for approval;
  • Maintain and manage the inventory of materials on hand and on order;
  • Work in accordance with acceptable standards, minimizing material waste and adhering to injury prevention rules;

Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, you should possess a Secondary School Graduate certificate with relevant licenses required by the company.

You will need to be familiar with a range of tools and equipment, such as lathes, milling, and drilling machines, thermal heating, cutting, and welding equipment.

Your skills should also include the usage of tools to mark, press, cut, grind, plane, bore, and drill objects.

Language Requirements:

Fluency in oral and written English is essential for effective communication within the team.

VISA Requirements:

You must hold a valid Passport with at least 12 months of validity left.

Compensation Package:

The estimated annual salary for this role is $60,000-$80,000 depending on experience, location, and qualifications.
