At Medtronic, we are committed to championing healthcare access and equity for all. As a Process Engineer, you will play a vital role in breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.

You will lead with purpose, serving as a Process Engineer (Process SPOC) with deep expertise in processes. This role requires ownership and management of Process Development activities, including characterization, IQ/OQ/PQ.

A Day in the Life: In this position, you will master design for reliability and manufacturability tools and principles. You will apply technical rigor during process development phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recommend and implement equipment and processes to meet quality standards and improve production efficiencies.
  • Integrate equipment and component/material capabilities to meet process target specifications and technology target specifications.
  • Review product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods to determine costs and schedules.
  • Drive process performance improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Commit to scouting and feasibility work, material selection, process and equipment selection, tooling/fixture and equipment installation, and assessment of inputs, outputs, and alignment to requirements.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Engineering background and education.
  • 3-5 years of experience in process management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Laser welding experience, along with past exposure to statistical analysis.
  • Lean Six Sigma-based process development experience.
  • Experience in test metrics, mechanical design principles, and innovation mindset.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills aimed at performing as a single point of contact.
  • Fluency in French and English.
