Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Customer Support Specialist to join our team in Switzerland. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that Plasma Technology equipment is fully functional and available for customer use.

The role involves regular extensive travel in Switzerland and occasionally in Europe, with a focus on providing exceptional customer support and technical expertise.

  • Commissioning of equipment including operational and maintenance training requirements.
  • Responding to emergency breakdowns for warranty and service contract work.
  • Reporting to the EMEA Team Leader on relevant issues and PDR objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing visit reports detailing work completed, outstanding issues, time spent on site, and travelling costs.
  • Authorising system 'buy-off' prior to shipment with or without the customer.
  • Liaising with technical support and systems engineering on system problems.
  • Maintaining accurate records of system status, warranty timing, parts supplied, and service contracts.

Requirements:

  • Substantial relevant experience and training.
  • Able to interpret Electrical and Mechanical drawings.
  • Good PC / PLC experience preferred.
  • Experience in Semi-Conductor or closely related high-Tech Electronic industry.
  • Fluent German and English speaker.
  • Driving licence.
  • Prepared to travel worldwide.
