Transaction Coordinator

About the Role

As a key member of Partners Group's investment team, you will play a pivotal role in the transaction closing process for Private Equity, Real Estate, and Infrastructure investments. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a seamless closing process, maintaining a comprehensive view of the requirements to bring a transaction to closure. You will drive and coordinate various related work streams with both internal and external parties, ensuring timely and efficient execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with investment teams in Europe, primarily Switzerland, UK, Italy, and Germany, to manage the investment closing process.
2. Oversee the overall execution of transactions by coordinating and monitoring the status of various work streams across teams and jurisdictions.
3. Coordinate the equity funding process, including handling funds flows and capital calls.
4. Manage external counsel on closing-related topics, such as acquisition structure setup, transaction documentation execution, and other transaction-specific requirements.
5. Develop and drive the closing steps plan, ensuring fulfillment of conditions precedent.
6. Coordinate with internal teams on various processes related to transaction setup and execution.
7. Identify and drive improvement opportunities for the team and the overall execution process.

Requirements

• Top academic credentials in business administration, economics, finance, and/or law.
• Experience in private markets/financial services industry or consulting, with previous experience at private equity firms, law firms, advisory firms, or similar a plus.
• Previous transactional experience, preferably with exposure to closings of private markets transactions (3-4 years for Associates, 4-6 years for Senior Associates).
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
