Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at The Biopôle. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in sustaining and improving our cutting-edge cloud-based AI software platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop large-scale applications using Python and distributed architectures.
  • Collaborate with fellow developers and DevOps engineers to deliver innovative solutions to leading companies and start-ups worldwide.
  • Ensure the scalability and reliability of our cloud-based platform using container technologies and cloud-based platforms.
  • Work with PostgreSQL databases and ORMs to develop efficient data management systems.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and version control mechanisms to ensure smooth software development and deployment.
  • Communicate effectively with our international team and clients, requiring strong English language skills.
  • Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and collaborating with our network of world-class scientists and experts.
Requirements:
  • At least 7 years of industry experience as a Software Engineer, with expertise in Python and building large-scale applications.
  • Experience in distributed and service-oriented architectures, and queuing services.
  • Proficiency in container technologies and cloud-based platforms.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL databases and ORMs.
  • Used to CI/CD, version control mechanisms, and best practices.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, with a passion for learning and problem-solving.
