Our Mission

You will play a key role in shaping the future of virtual, onsite, and hybrid events by developing new features and functionalities for:

  • SpotMe WebApp - an end user-facing web application serving rich content to participants during live events, with a focus on scalability to support thousands of concurrent users.
  • SpotMe CMS (Backstage) - a highly configurable and customizable cloud-based application used by our customers to create and manage their events.

Responsibilities

As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing new features for our CMS and WebApp, including backend and frontend development.
  • Developing new features for the SpotMe platform to enhance participant engagement during online and onsite events.
  • Optimizing user experience, streamlining workflows, and improving feedback and reporting.
  • Developing and maintaining integrations with external provider systems, such as Veeva, Cvent, or Marketo.
  • Developing and maintaining automatic tests, from unit tests to browser tests.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams on new and existing features.
  • Participating in brainstorming, specification, and design sessions.
  • Providing support to the support team with escalated issues.
  • Refactoring legacy code with a focus on quality and consistency.

Requirements

We are looking for a skilled Fullstack Software Engineer with:

  • Native JavaScript and CSS skills, with proficiency in Node.js and Vue.js.
  • Experience with Angular, Docker, Jenkins, Gulp, and/or NGinx is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and building complex web applications.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Proactive and independent problem-solving skills.
