About the Position
">- We are seeking a highly experienced Executive Director of Advancement to join our team, responsible for leading our philanthropy efforts and driving growth through innovative fundraising strategies.
- You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising plans, identifying new opportunities, and building relationships with key stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of securing high-value gifts from various donor sources, with a strong ability to build and maintain strategic relationships.
">- Relationship Building: You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, and other external parties.
- Strategic Planning: You will develop and implement comprehensive fundraising plans, identifying new opportunities and building relationships with key stakeholders.
You will achieve the KPI's defined for FY26 and for Homo Faber Biennial in FY27, forecast revenue and project fundraising expenses for the multi-year plan, and design standards for fundraising success with monitoring indicators.
">- Accountability and Reporting: You will take accountability for the delivery of the plan to agreed objectives and activities, with regular reporting and updates to the Management Team.
You will develop and/or identify systems for donor tracking and gift processing, contribute to the necessary financial reconciliation between philanthropy and finance, and manage internal approval processes to produce fundraising proposals and materials.
">- Team Management: You will manage one Fundraising Assistant to be hired, providing guidance and support to ensure the team achieves its goals.
