Job Summary

The VisilabGroup, a leading optician in Switzerland, is seeking a highly skilled Junior Business Controller to join its Finance & Controlling department.

Main Responsibilities

  • Co-lead the monthly forecasts, quarterly re-forecasts, and annual budgets within the deadlines set by the EssilorLuxottica Group.
  • Develop and implement key financial and non-financial indicators, working capital, and DSI.
  • Participate in the production of ROI returns on various investment projects.
  • Provide rigorous quantitative and financial analysis to support decision-making for various departments, the finance department, and top management.
  • Collaborate with the EL Group to review and share best practices.
  • Monitor and steer central and shop margins.
  • Create and maintain detailed Excel-based financial models and business cases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, preferably in finance, accounting, or controlling.
  • Proficient in English; German and/or French (verbal & written) is an advantage.
  • 1 year of experience in a retail industry or an international company.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and good PowerPoint skills.
  • Self-starter, proactive, confident, and fluent communicator with management at all levels.
  • Rigorous understanding of financial controls.
  • Relentless focus on driving process efficiency.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.
