Your role

As a seasoned software engineer at J. Safra Sarasin, you will leverage your profound knowledge of the Avaloq stack to provide expertise to the Trade & Transaction reporting unit within the broader Avaloq Regulatory team.

Your responsibilities

  • Maintain existing Trade and Transaction reporting solutions
  • Develop new functionalities or changes to existing functionalities in Trade and Transaction reporting
  • Implement small to medium sized projects together with your colleagues from the Trade and Transaction reporting unit
  • Challenge and re-think existing solutions (architecture) together with your colleagues from the Trade and Transaction reporting unit
  • Be an integral part of the broader Avaloq Regulatory team, also assisting in other expert fields (Tax, Compliance, Legal Reporting, Accounting)

Your profile

  • Higher education (university / FH) in Informatics or Computer Science, preferably with specialization in Software Engineering
  • Additional training in Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP)
  • 4 years of practical experience in the field of Avaloq development
  • Solid understanding of banking and finance
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Completion of ACCP with Major in Core Technologies is a plus (formerly ACP)
  • Ability to work with various stakeholders as well as hands-on mentality
  • Strong work ethics, integrity and high level of accountability
  • Willingness to re-locate to Switzerland (Basel)
  • Fluency in English
