Job Title: System Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to join our team at Stadler Rail. As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, integration, and testing of complex hardware and software systems for rail vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and integrate on-board systems into rail vehicles
  • Develop system architecture and electrical schematics
  • Participate in static and dynamic commissioning of systems
  • Prepare evidence for authorization and interface with customers, assessors, and suppliers
  • Work in complicated projects with multiple stakeholders and in a multi-cultural environment
Requirements:
  • Completed technical education as a mechanical, electronic, or computer science engineer
  • Fluent English and Spanish language skills
  • Good analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel in Europe (up to 25%)
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of ETCS and European Railway Agency (ERA) standards
  • Experience with Class B systems integration
  • Knowledge of tools like DOORS, RQM, CCM, and MVB protocols
